XCM POST Initiative:

We are incorporating generative AI into our workflows. As new technology becomes available and incorporated into existing platforms, we’re in a position to embrace what works and improve our creative tools.

*Some tools listed below may not be “Amazon sanctioned”, but serve as valuable knowledge that can help us monitor and understand our changing industry with the advent of AI tools.

These tools may be used for learning and experimental purposes, but without first getting security/legal approval, Amazon business data should not be input and outputs should not be used for business purposes.

Technology: Adobe Sensei

Auto transcription / Text-to-video based video editing

Used in: Win My Dormz (Twitch), The BAR Event videos, Black History Month

We use auto-create transcriptions in Premiere Pro to create searchable transcriptions that we can then use text-to-video technology. This allows us to quickly search for specific soundbites using text inputs, and create edits via a script.

Scene Edit Detection

Used in: HR Recruiting Video, Holiday Organic Social, The BAR Fall 2023

We use Scene Edit Detection to automatically detect and cut at scene changes in edited clips.

Music ReMix

Used in: ERG Summit Reel

We use Music Remix to easily increase or decrease the length of an audio clip without losing the continuity of the audio content.

Photo AI

Used in: Black History Month, Leadership Reels

We use Photo AI to increase the quality of photos and graphics.

Video AI

Used in: HVEX Mass Prime Big Deals Day, Holiday Organic Social Campaign

We use Topaz Video AI for frame rate conversion, time remapping, and upscaling.

Music Re-balance module

Spectral Recovery module

Used in: Wrapping Paper (Organic Social)

We use iZotope’s Spectral Recovery module to improve upon the quality and re-synthesize upper and lower frequencies of voice over recordings.

We use iZotope’s Music Re-balance module to remove background music to isolate dialog.
The intelligent algorithms save enormous amounts of manual editing time while revealing clear, professional vocal isolation.
